From addressing cultural biases to addressing widespread professional shortages, today’s healthcare leadership faces an overwhelming array of challenges.

A new type of healthcare leader is needed for healthcare organizations to remain effective and successful during these tumultuous times –one who possess specific skills, personality traits and leadership qualities specific to caring for a diverse community.

Strong healthcare leadership is important now more than ever because the challenges are increasing in complexity and the stakes (oftentimes literally life and death situations) are much higher than other industries.

That is why we provide leadership training and consultancy for professionals in various health and wellness positions who have accumulated some experience and knowledge in their respective fields. At this point in their lives, they aspire to advance in their existing position or switch to a different role and still be able to contribute positively to their organization.

We help healthcare leaders evolve and develop new skill sets, in order to successfully lead their organizations. We truly hope to enable them to stay relevant and competent, so they can become a source of inspiration to their community.

LEADERSHIP TRAINING

Our leadership training program is customized to help staff to:

Understand their own leadership styles, and the styles of their colleagues
Maximize their own potential and effectiveness in the workplace
Develop a culture of curiosity, learning and creativity
Identify their emotional intelligence and resilency
Learn how to genuinely express empathy for other people
Form strong working partnerships with stakeholders
Create an atmosphere where adaptability and innovation is embraced
Initiate a real impact on organizational performance and vision
Make and manage stronger commitment to their organization's mission

Participants will attend five full-day, intensive, interactive training sessions. Participants will draw upon their own efforts, experience and share their insights with others. As part of the program, each participant will develop a leadership project that will make a meaningful and lasting impact on the organization/mission/clients. Participants will be able to take a leadership assessment and will have access to their own executive coach throughout the program. Peer learning and networking opportunities are built into the program.

CERTIFICATE

Participants must attend all five (5) sessions and complete their leadership project to be certificate eligible. Make-up classes may be available upon request (not included in the course fee).
