Here are 12 steps of self care we need to learn and adhere to.

  1. If it feels wrong, don't do it. It is all about doing what is right, making sure we obey our conscience.

  2. Say exactly what you mean. Most people say one thing and mean another thing. Hence the saying, "I am responsible for what I say but I am not responsible for what you think". Though there is some truth in that, it is best to be clear in what we tell people and avoid deceiving them.

  3. Don't be a people pleaser. Always try to be yourself and live for yourself also. Pleasing people and displeasing yourself is unhealthy.

  4. Trust your instincts. Instincts are innate, always try to trust yourself and people will trust you too.

  5. Never speak bad about yourself

  6. Never give up on your dreams

  7. Don't be afraid to say no

  8. Don't be afraid to say yes

  9. Be kind to yourself

  10. Let go of what you can't control. You are human; not everything is in your control. Trust that the universe has got your back and move on.

  11. Stay away from drama & negativity. These can bring you down faster than a bullet. In most cases it becomes obssesive and hard to let go.

  12. LOVE. Always give love and accept love everyday.
