Power Moves

Making power moves are not just the shoes that you can buy. Power moves are the moves that we use to build ourselves up. Self-esteem is imperative to our souls, our energy, and the spirit we bring to the world. Some of us get beat top by societies invalid standards, negativity, and past trauma’s. Regardless of who were yesterday we must be in-sync with who we are in the present so that we are making power moves for the future. Enlighten yourself with these power moves in order to move forward with self -worth, self -love, compassion, and light for the world. Here are some power moves we should all be starting today:
Take a look into your routine and habits: Focus in on your routine and the bad habits that are consuming your time and taking away from your success. There are behaviors that you may have that are not conducive to your success. Take an honest look and set a SMART goal that can reduce those behaviors. The other suggestion here is do not focus on things you can not change. Work on what you can change!
Do the things you enjoy: Life is amazing! Don’t forget that! Encourage yourself to do the things that make you smile and that entices your spirit. It is okay to be unsure at this moment but this means you need a break and some time for you! #SelfCare
Get moving daily: Move! Get the blood flowing. Exercise is a great way to relive stress. It is also a great way to boost self – confidence. This is a great way to build your physical and inner strength.
Hydrate and eat you veggies: Refresh your mind body and spirit with water. Add fruit if you would like. Water is essential to our mental health, physical health, and spirit. Veggies… yes the green stuff! We need to put the proper nutrients in our body to output our best selves!
Ground yourself in meditation/prayer: Clear those negative thoughts. Create out the clutter in your mind. This helps connect with your brain, higher power/spirit, and is a healthy tool to distress. Meditation and prayer is known to help with most mental illness like depression and anxiety. Meditation gives a sense of calm.
Affirm yourself and encourage yourself: Clap for yourself! Feed your brain and spirit with positivity. Some of us wait for someone else to say, ” Good Job!” No! Acknowledge who you are, your capabilities, and the light that you give to the world!
Celebrate the little things: Every step counts! The little steps help create the bigger picture. Just because you take small steps does not mean you should not celebrate your progress. Check yourself!
Don’t sweat the small stuff: Remember we all have our own struggles, make mistakes, or come up short. Fix those things and move on. To dwell on the negative with no positive reinforcement makes you doomed for failure. Change what you can and move on. Do not beat yourself up.
